Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

SEOFliq operates this website (seofliq.com), the SEOFliq Core web application, and two browser extensions: SEOFliq: On-Page SEO Auditor and SEOFliq: AEO and GEO Suite. When this policy refers to "SEOFliq", "we", "our", or "us", it means the SEOFliq service and its operator.

2. What We Collect and Why

2a. Browser Extensions (On-Page SEO Auditor and AEO and GEO Suite)

Both extensions operate entirely in your browser. They do not require an account, login, or email address.

Data that never leaves your device:

• Extension settings you configure (agency name, logo, report template, Plain English Mode toggle)
• Audit snapshots you choose to save locally
• Extension version and last-run timestamp

This data is stored in your browser's local extension storage. It is never transmitted to our servers. Uninstalling the extension clears it entirely.

Data sent to third-party APIs during an audit:

• The URL of the page you are auditing is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API to retrieve Core Web Vitals data. Google's privacy policy governs that request. SEOFliq does not receive or store this URL.

No personal data, browsing history, or identifiable information is collected by either extension.

2b. SEOFliq Core (Web Application)

SEOFliq Core is an invitation-only SaaS platform. When you create an account and use the platform, we collect the following:

Account information:

• Email address and hashed password (or OAuth token if you sign in via Google)
• Name, if provided during registration

Usage data:

• Website URLs you submit for crawling and audit
• Crawl results and audit scores stored in your account
• Competitor domains you add for comparison

Google Search Console integration (optional):

• If you connect Google Search Console, we store an OAuth access token and refresh token to retrieve keyword and click data on your behalf
• This data is stored in your account and used only to display GSC insights within your dashboard
• You can disconnect GSC at any time from your account settings, which permanently deletes the stored tokens and keyword data

Google My Business integration (optional):

• If you connect Google My Business, we store an OAuth access token and refresh token to retrieve your business profile, location data, and review data on your behalf
• This data is stored in your account and used only to display GMB insights and audit results within your dashboard
• We do not post, edit, or delete any GMB content on your behalf without an explicit action you initiate within the dashboard
• You can disconnect Google My Business at any time from your account settings, which permanently deletes the stored tokens and associated business data

Billing information:

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. SEOFliq does not store card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials
• We receive a transaction ID and subscription status confirmation from Razorpay to manage your plan

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above solely to:

• Create and manage your SEOFliq Core account
• Run website crawls and deliver audit results to your dashboard
• Process payments and manage your subscription plan
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing receipts)
• Respond to support requests you initiate
• Improve the product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build profiles for remarketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

SEOFliq Core uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Brevo: transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Brevo to send account and billing emails. Brevo's privacy policy applies.
• Razorpay: payment processing. Your name and email address are shared with Razorpay when you subscribe to a paid plan. Razorpay's privacy policy applies.
• Google OAuth: used for optional Google Sign-In, Google Search Console integration, and Google My Business integration. OAuth tokens are stored per integration and deleted when you disconnect. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Hostinger: our hosting provider. Your data is stored on servers provided by Hostinger.
• Google Analytics 4: we may use GA4 to collect anonymised page-view statistics on seofliq.com. No personally identifiable information is included. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
• If you delete your account, your personal data and crawl history are permanently deleted within 30 days
• GSC tokens and keyword data are deleted immediately when you disconnect the integration
• GMB tokens and business data are deleted immediately when you disconnect the integration
• Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law

6. AI-Assisted Features

SEOFliq Core includes features that use AI models to generate suggestions for content improvements, including alt text, page titles, meta descriptions, and image captions. When you use these features, the relevant page content or image data is sent to a third-party AI model to generate suggestions.

We do not store the prompts or AI-generated suggestions on our servers beyond the current session unless you explicitly save them. No AI model used by SEOFliq makes automated decisions that affect your account, subscription, or access to the Products.

AI-generated suggestions are recommendations only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing it on your website.

7. Data Security

All data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text. Access to production data is restricted to the system operator.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect any third-party integration (GSC, GMB) at any time
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

To exercise any of these rights, email info@seofliq.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 3 business days.

9. Cookies

The browser extensions do not set any cookies. On seofliq.com, we use only strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Children

SEOFliq products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at info@seofliq.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify SEOFliq Core users by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the products after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
