Introduction

SEOFliq ("we", "our", "us") builds browser extensions for SEO and AEO analysis. This policy explains what data our extensions collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. We have designed both extensions to operate with minimal data collection by default.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. Neither extension requires an account, login, or email address. No data about you, your device, or your browsing history is transmitted to our servers.

Google PageSpeed Insights API

Both extensions request Core Web Vitals data from the Google PageSpeed Insights API. To do this, the URL of the page you are currently auditing is sent to Google's API endpoint. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle this request. No other data is transmitted.

Chrome Local Storage

Both extensions store the following data locally in Chrome's extension storage on your device:

  • Extension settings (report template preference, logo, agency name, Plain English Mode toggle)
  • Before/After Snapshots you choose to save (audit results and scores)
  • Extension version and last-run timestamp

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server. It is cleared if you uninstall the extension.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage statistics on our website (seofliq.com). This data includes page views, session duration, and general geographic region. It does not include personally identifiable information. Analytics is only on the website — not in the extensions.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

No Cookies

The extensions do not set any cookies. The website (seofliq.com) does not use cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Children's Privacy

Our extensions are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and note the change in our changelog. Continued use of the extensions after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
